The latest release of ADAPTcrm™ is the fifth-generation of this
comprehensive, customer-focused front office business management system. It
provides across-the-enterprise CRM functionality, encompassing features for
automating processes, managing accounts, activities and tasks; Marketing
campaigns, events and ROI; Sales opportunities, pipelines and competitors;
and Service contracts, warranties and incidents. In addition, ADAPTcrm is
equipped with real-time back-office accounting/ERP and Microsoft™
front-office integration.

ADAPTcrm software combines collaboration, marketing, sales and extended
services management in a single module, providing benefits that include
single-point data entry and rapid learning. ADAPTcrm features “out of the
box” integration to a wide variety of available ERP solutions, in effect,
adding front-end CRM functionality with real-time synchronization of the CRM
database with the customer, vendor, inventory, order entry, accounts
receivable and accounts payable files of the supported ERP systems.
ADAPTcrm v5.0 adds support for Microsoft SQL Server 2005. It also features a
new Executive View that enables managers to display charts of key sales and
service statistics for easy graphical analyses. In addition Service Ticket
charts provide management with greater insight into the performance of
weekly or monthly services.
New features in ADAPTcrm v5.0 include a “new look” of updated displays that
enhances visibility and utility. The updated interface includes new
dashboard colors, new navigational bar displays, updated icons on dashboards
and within records, resized data views in dashboards and dialog boxes,
enhanced displays of records in resizable dialog boxes throughout the
application and customizable display options in lookups. The latter permits
changes of default settings for individual users or for all users. In fact,
users can select options for their own client installations, while
administrators can apply selections to either a selected user or globally to
all users.
In addition, ADAPTcrm v5.0 enables users to sort records by either ascending
or descending order. ADAPTcrm v5.0 also includes new Calendar functionality
that simplifies use with new displays and capabilities. Among the latter is
the ability to “drag and drop” to move or delete appointments.
Other new additions to ADAPTcrm v5.0 include a myriad of new campaign
tracking capabilities and the ability to customize accounts and contact
records for each user through the assignment of user-defined forms. Email
enhancements include support for GroupWise and email synchronization from
Microsoft Outlook’s Sent Items, as well as from subfolders under both
Outlook’s Inbox and Sent Items.
According to Marin Toader, ADAPT product manager, ADAPTcrm v5.0 incorporates
the widest scope of features for manufacturers and distributors in the
midrange CRM market.

ADAPTcrm incorporates a highly intuitive user interface. Some new users
may be able to immediately navigate around the system without formal
training or reading a single page of product documentation.
ADAPTcrm’s ease-of-use is further extended through a continually expanding
knowledge base. When a user makes a query about system use, features,
procedures and other items, the response is added to a knowledge base. Thus,
users have the option of first searching the knowledge base through natural
language queries to determine if answers already exist.
