Smart Online (SOLN - OTC) develops and markets Internet-delivered
Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications and data resources to start and
grow small businesses with one to one hundred employees. Our solutions are

OneBiz is a comprehensive platform built on secure proprietary technology
that manages and delivers web-native products and services in a unified
environment.
OneBiz is an open platform architecture utilizing J2EE standards with the
struts application framework. This platform uses Web Services, Business
Process Workflow, and service interoperability concepts to aggregate and
deliver web-native applications. The platform integrates e-commerce services
that can be customized to a specific business model.
OneBiz’s core consists of the business services that provide common platform
functionality like e-commerce, authentication, and session management. A
distinct profile is created for every company using the OneBiz wizard when
users signup and register. The profile will continually update itself based
on operations performed and information requested by each company as it uses
OneBiz. OneBiz is a modular methodology, which allows various components to
be assembled for rapid new application development and enhancement.
Data exchange to and from each product or functional component will be
handled seamlessly by the OneBiz integration platform. In addition, multiple
users will be able to collaborate on the same function, application or
document providing maximized workflow efficiencies. Finally, in the future
users will be able to work offline on various applications and later upload
their work to OneBiz for synchronization. OneBiz’s Business Process Engine
and the corresponding best business practices processes and workflows will
help by automating business process flows, and allowing business
applications to communicate and intelligently share information.
Smart Online's easy-to-use, comprehensive SFA/CRM application is now
included as part of the subscription to Smart Online's suite of applications
which includes Human Resource Management, Accounting, Calendar, Contacts,
and many more tools for the small businesses that want to easily and
securely manage their money, customers, and employees.
Smart Online's SFA/CRM application gives customers the capability to manage
their prospects and customers while working on their other applications for
finance and human resources. Smart Online delivers to its customers all
their business applications using a Web browser, eliminating the cost and
difficulties of traditional software.
Smart Online plans to integrate the SFA/CRM application into the Websites of
our private label syndication partners later this year. The Company has
already integrated those features of the existing SFA/CRM application that
it believes are most useful to small businesses, and has focused on making
the application easier to use. The new SFA/CRM application includes the
